When a driver leaves your roster, their chat conversation doesn't disappear — it moves to Chat → Archived, where the full history stays readable. Your main chat list stays focused on the people you're actually working with, and nothing you've ever discussed with a driver is lost.
Which conversations are live, and which are archived
Whether a driver's conversation sits on your main list or in Archived follows their roster status:
Active drivers — live, always.
Onboarding drivers — live. Someone who hasn't started yet hasn't left either, and you'll often need to reach them before day one.
Inactive drivers marked Suspended — live. A suspension is a temporary absence with an expected return, so the conversation stays reachable.
Inactive drivers marked Terminated (or with no decision recorded) — archived.
Moving between the lists
Archival follows status changes immediately: mark a driver Terminated and the conversation moves to Archived; reactivate them (or record a Suspended disposition) and it returns to your main list right away.
You can also bring a conversation back yourself — open it under Chat → Archived and send a message, and it returns to the live list.
What archived conversations keep
Everything. The full message history stays readable in Chat → Archived, including for drivers who left long ago — old conversations remain available to read even after long dormancy.
New admins
An admin added to your company picks up the live conversations — current roster, not departed drivers. The archived history is still there for everyone under Chat → Archived.
