Schedule Acknowledgements

Tracking who has seen and acknowledged the published schedule, and sending Viki SMS reminders to drivers who haven't viewed it.

Once a week's schedule is published, the Acknowledgements page (Scheduling → Acknowledgements) tells you exactly who has actually looked at it — and who is going to claim they never saw it. Use the arrows at the top to step between weeks; the page shows the week containing today by default.

The three numbers that matter

Three stat cards summarize the week. "Sent to" is how many drivers the published schedule went out to. "Viewed" is how many have opened it in the driver app, shown with the percentage of those sent. "Acknowledged" is how many have explicitly tapped Acknowledge on their schedule, also as a percentage of sent. The gap between Sent and Acknowledged is your to-do list for the week.

Per-driver detail

Below the cards, a table lists every driver the schedule was sent to, with their status (Acknowledged, Viewed, or Pending), when they last viewed it, and when they acknowledged it. Times show as "ago" labels; hover to see the absolute time in your company's timezone. Use the All / Pending / Acknowledged toggle to focus the list — Pending here means anything short of acknowledged.

Click a driver to open their timeline on the right. It shows each event in order: "Schedule sent" when the week was published to them, "Viewed" when they opened it in the driver app, and "Acknowledged schedule" when they tapped Acknowledge. This is the audit trail to point at when there's a dispute about whether someone knew their shifts.

Chasing stragglers with Viki

When some drivers have been sent the schedule but haven't viewed it yet, Viki surfaces a banner at the top: "N drivers haven't viewed this week's schedule yet — I can remind them via SMS." Press Send reminders and Viki texts every driver who hasn't viewed the schedule. You'll get a confirmation of how many reminders went out, and drivers without a phone number on file are skipped (the page tells you how many were skipped so you can follow up with them another way). The banner disappears once everyone has at least viewed the week.

Reminders from this page are always manager-initiated — Viki doesn't text anyone from here until you press the button. Whether drivers are notified automatically at publish time is a separate setting, under Scheduling → Configuration in the Manager preferences tab ("Notify drivers when a schedule is published").

If the page looks empty

If you see "No acknowledgement activity for this week," the most common reason is that the week's schedule hasn't been published yet — acknowledgement tracking starts when the schedule goes out to drivers, not when it's built. Publish the week from the schedule page first, then check back here.
