Editing a Driver’s Name

How to update a Driver’s name in voiceERP and prevent Cortex from automatically overwriting your changes.

Updated this week

You can now edit a Driver’s name in voiceERP and disable automatic name syncing from Cortex for that specific driver.

  1. In the left toolbar, click Settings.

  2. Select Drivers.

  3. Use search or scroll to locate the driver you want to update.

  4. Click the pencil icon on the right to open the edit view.

  5. Update the driver’s name field to the correct value.

  6. Check the box labeled Disable Cortex Auto-Sync for this Driver.

  7. Click Save Changes.

Please note:

  • You must have permission to access Settings to edit driver records. If you don't have access to the Settings page, please ask your company's owner if they will grant you access to it.

  • By default, Cortex Auto-Sync is enabled, which means Cortex will overwrite driver names every time it refreshes, every few minutes.

  • Disabling auto-sync is applied per driver; it does not change settings for other drivers unless you do it manually for other drivers also.
