Drivers get the VoiceERP app from a download link you text them from Chat. VoiceERP doesn't have a QR code for downloading the app. To get a driver set up, send them the link.
Texting a driver the download link
In Chat, open the driver's conversation. A driver who hasn't opened the app yet has a Hasn't opened the app tag in the conversation header, next to a Send app reminder button. Press it and the driver gets this text:
"Download the VoiceERP driver app to get your messages in chat:", followed by a link.
The link works out whether they're on an iPhone or an Android phone and takes them to the right app store. The same message also shows up in their chat conversation. You'll see "App reminder sent." when it goes out.
A driver with no phone number on file can't get a reminder. Add their number in Settings → Drivers first.
Reminding every driver at once
In Chat, open the ⋯ menu at the top of the conversation list and choose App reminders. It lists your active drivers who haven't opened the app yet. Press Send reminder to N drivers to text every one of them the same download link.
If everyone has already opened the app, you'll see "Every active driver has opened the app. Nothing to send."
Work phones
For company work phones that drivers use on the road, there's no link to send. Search "voiceERP" in the app store on each phone and install it there.
To nudge drivers who have a work phone assigned but haven't signed in yet, turn on Driver login reminders under Settings → Other → Driver App Settings. VoiceERP then texts the work phone to remind the driver to sign in.
No QR code
There's no QR code for downloading the app, either in the manager web app or in the driver app. To get the app onto a driver's personal phone, send the download link by text with Send app reminder or App reminders, as described above.
