Zap Walkie-Talkie Skins and Points

How drivers change the look of the Zap walkie-talkie, earn daily points, and unlock new skins.

The Zap walkie-talkie has skins (visual looks for the device screen) and a points wallet. Drivers earn points by opening the app, then spend them on the looks they want.

Where to change it:

  • Open Settings in the driver app and tap the Walkie skin row. The row shows the current skin.

  • Or swipe up the white sheet on the Home screen and tap the Walkie skins row, or tap the palette button on the walkie itself.

Earning points:

  • The first time a driver opens the app each day, 10 points land in their wallet, based on your company timezone.

  • A wallet caps at 2,000 points. Spending frees up room again.

  • Tapping the title 20 times on the skin screen awards a hidden 100-point bonus.

Skins:

  • Zap, Classic, and ZAP-81 are free from the start. Classic is the default.

  • Bubblegum and Console cost 50 points.

  • Ghibli costs 100 points.

  • Cyberpunk costs 150 points.

  • Wasteland costs 200 points.

  • Silver costs 250 points.

  • Electric costs 500 points.

  • Gold costs 1,000 points.

Selecting a skin applies it to the driver's account across every device they sign into. The Classic look plays a short walkthrough once, then stays quiet. In the Classic look, admins also get the dial's broadcast channels (Everyone, Admins, and Drivers) above today's waves. Each channel row shows how many people it reaches right now (for example, "4 people") and a mic key; tap the mic key to record a voice message that goes to that whole audience. Driver accounts do not see these channel rows.

Points and skins have no cash value and are not tied to pay or incentives.
