Amazon's world runs on abbreviations, and VoiceERP speaks the same language. Here are the ones you'll meet most often, and what each means in the app.
The operation
DSP — Delivery Service Provider: an independent company delivering Amazon packages with its own drivers and vans. That's you.
DA (delivery associate) — a driver. VoiceERP says "driver" nearly everywhere.
Station — the Amazon delivery station you operate out of, where drivers load each morning.
Cortex — Amazon's DSP portal. VoiceERP connects to it for drivers, vehicles, routes, the forecast, and scorecards; the integrations article covers what it feeds.
Route — one driver's set of stops for the day, identified by a route code.
Wave / wave time — the departure group a driver loads into so vans leave in staggered batches. A wave time is not a shift start time; the roster tracks both.
Staging area — where a driver's carts are staged for loading; a standard roster column.
Rescue — a second driver taking over part of someone else's route so it finishes on time. Route Assistance spots these and records them.
RTS — return to station. Route Assistance compares a driver's projected RTS against the planned one to flag who is running late.
Scheduling words
Open shift — a shift with nobody assigned. These are what the marketplace offers drivers to claim.
Placeholder shift — a shift telling a driver that they work a day without committing to when; you set the time closer to it.
VTO (voluntary time off) — an offer letting drivers give up a scheduled shift, posted through the marketplace.
Amazon week — Amazon's operational week numbering. Schedules, scorecards, incentives, and performance ranges run in whole Amazon weeks, never mid-week dates.
Performance and safety
Transporter ID — a driver's unique Amazon identifier, and how scorecard rows, Netradyne events, and other Amazon data find the right driver.
Scorecard — Amazon's weekly performance report for your station, a row per driver. The team and each driver get a standing for the week — Fantastic Plus, Fantastic, Great, Fair, or Poor — commonly called a tier.
DPMO — defects per million opportunities, the shape most scorecard defect metrics take.
CDF — customer delivery feedback: what customers said about their delivery.
DVIC — the daily vehicle inspection a driver completes around their route. Amazon publishes a weekly DVIC report you upload with the scorecard.
Netradyne (Driveri) — the in-vehicle camera system. It raises alerts and warnings for risky driving, and Driver Stars for good driving.
VoiceERP's own words
Viki — your AI agent. She calls and texts drivers, confirms shifts, coaches on safety alerts, chases signatures, and answers your questions.
Zap — the mobile app's walkie-talkie: a push-to-talk voice message or instant call between you and a driver.
